All About Engines And Use Of Synthetic Engine Fuels

Engine is a machine, which is designed for converting energy into mechanical motion. There are mainly two types of engines, which are internal combustion engine and external combustion engine. Both these types require fossil fuel for working and for converting the static energy of fuels into mechanical energy. Engine is known as motor, when it is attached to a machine. However it is mostly found in vehicles like car, truck, bike and various other means of transportation. It can be said that engine is the soul of vehicle and if it will not work properly then the vehicle would be of no use. Therefore it is crucially important to get engine servicing done after regular intervals in order to facilitate smooth functioning.

If engine is the soul of vehicle, then fuel is life. It is not possible to run any engine or machine without energy. This energy is created by combustion of fossil fuels that are extracted from natural reserves across the world. However the diesel engine oil which you use in your vehicle engine is soon going to be a part of history. The excessive use of fossil fuel has led to depreciation in the number of natural reserves and there soon will be a time when there would hardly be any on earth. To tackle this problem scientists are now inventing various types of artificial fuels like synthetic hydraulic oil and synthetic diesel engine oil. These fuels are formulated to run various types of motors and engines. Apart from this some of them are also used for enhancing the performance of engine and for increasing its functional life.
